No internet? The ward still runs.
Rural and district hospitals are where cloud-only software fails hardest: intermittent power, a shared mobile link if any, and older handsets. Medveon treats that as the normal case. It installs as an app, works with no connection at all, and can be deployed on a local network inside the hospital with no outside dependency.
Three ways to run with no dependable link
Offline-first app. Staff install it to the home screen. The working data for their ward lives on the device, so rounds, notes, orders and discharge continue with the connection gone, then sync when it returns.
Local network install. The whole system can run on a server inside the hospital, with staff devices talking to it over the hospital LAN or Wi-Fi — no internet involved in day-to-day use.
Fully on-premises. For sites that must not depend on an outside link at all, the system is capable of running self-contained on hardware you own.
Built on a real ward, not a whiteboard
The system is in daily use at a major public teaching hospital in Karachi, built by a practising surgeon — a setting with genuine power interruptions and genuine load. The offline behaviour exists because the ward it was built on needed it, not because it tested well in a demo.
What it costs and what it takes to run
From USD 199/mo for a single clinician and from USD 9 per bed / month for a full hospital, with local-currency pricing on request and 30–50% off for public, teaching, charity and mission hospitals. Because a first install on your own hardware is the part most likely to go wrong, we prefer to run early installations ourselves rather than hand a self-host to a non-technical site.
Not a degraded mode — the ordinary way it runs. Syncs when a link appears.
Deploy on a server inside the building; devices connect over local Wi-Fi.
Installs to the home screen; no PC rollout, no special hardware.
We do the first install rather than leave self-hosting to your staff.
The unplug test
Open the live demo, turn off your connection, and keep using it. That is the whole pitch.

Does it genuinely work with no internet?
Yes. It is an offline-first progressive web app: it installs like an app and keeps working with no connection, syncing automatically once a link is available. It can also be deployed on a local network inside the hospital so day-to-day use involves no internet at all.
What happens to data written while offline?
It is held on the device and synchronised when a connection returns.
Do we need new computers?
No. It installs to the home screen of ordinary Android phones, which in most rural wards are the most reliable devices available.
Can you install it for us?
Yes, and for early deployments we prefer to. A first-time install on your own hardware is the step most likely to cause trouble, so we would rather run it than hand it over.
